Refund policy

Short version: We offer a 14-day right of withdrawal for EU/EEA consumers, and a 30-day money-back guarantee on every plan — no questions asked.

This policy covers refunds and the legal right of withdrawal for purchases made on Casabook. It applies in addition to your statutory consumer rights under EU law.

1. EU right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your contract within 14 days of purchase, without giving any reason, under Articles 9–16 of EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

To exercise this right, send an unambiguous statement (for example, an email to [email protected]) before the 14-day period ends. You do not need to use a specific form, but you may use the model withdrawal form available on request.

Effect of withdrawal: We will refund all payments received, using the same payment method as the original transaction, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. There are no fees for withdrawal.

2. Loss of withdrawal right for digital content

Under Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content delivered without a tangible medium if performance has begun with your express prior consent and your acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

When you publish a guidebook before the 14-day period ends, the checkout flow will ask you to expressly agree to start service immediately and to acknowledge that you are giving up your right of withdrawal. If you do not give that consent, you keep the full 14-day right.

3. 30-day money-back guarantee

On top of the statutory 14 days, we offer a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee on all plans — one-time and subscription — counted from the date of the original payment.

If Casabook is not the right fit for you within those 30 days, email [email protected] and we will refund you in full. No forms, no questionnaire.

6. How to request a refund

  1. Email [email protected] from the address you used at checkout.
  2. Include your payment reference (order ID or the last four digits of the card used).
  3. You will receive confirmation within 2 business days.
  4. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 days of confirmation. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to display the credit.

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. In nearly all cases a direct refund is faster and avoids unnecessary fees on both sides.

9. Online dispute resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
